Becky Newman joined the Carey & Co. Team in January 2023. She is currently serving Operation White Stork, Lamp For Haiti, Master Voices and My Own Book Fund. She looks forward to supporting other nonprofit clients using her problem solving and organizational skills to incorporate best practices and policies.

Becky brings over 30 years of accounting experience in the for-profit sector.  She previously worked for Equity Mortgage Lending for 27 years managing and overseeing all business aspects. Reporting directly to the CEO, Becky prepared monthly financials in accordance with U.S. GAAP. She was responsible for maintaining the general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, compliance reporting and audits, overseeing human resources, and developing strategies to streamline processes to maximize cost effectiveness.
