Carrie Mauer is a seasoned leader, most recently serving as the Executive Director and co-leader of Explore Schools. Carrie led the talent and human resources functions and guided strategic and operational visions. Prior to Explore Schools, she served as the Facilitator of Planning for the Providence Public Schools, the Senior Director of Strategy and Operations at KIPP Foundation and, earlier, as Chief of Staff at KIPP NYC. Carrie has a track record of proven operational and strategic leadership, mentorship, department build outs and overhauls.

She earned her B.A. in Political Science from Brown University and an M.P.A  from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs.
