KC Klegar joined Carey & Co in 2024 after serving over 7years as Chief Financial Officer of Coney Island Prep, a Brooklyn-based charter school. During this time, the school budget increased from $15 to $33 million and expanded to over a thousand students across four campuses. Prior to this, KC spent over 20 years working as a portfolio manager with various asset management companies.

He received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his BA from Harvard University. KC enjoys endurance sports, having completed over 20 marathons and the Lake Placid 140.6Ironman.
