Ilan Katz joined Carey & Co in 2022, bringing over fifteen years of nonprofit accounting experience to the team. Ilan previously held executive leadership positions at Housing Development Fund, Community Housing Innovations, and the Israel Cancer Research Fund, where he managed accounting, human resources, and operations teams. Ilan began his accounting career as an auditor at EisnerAmper where he audited a portfolio focused on mid-sized nonprofit organizations throughout New York City. Ilan has served on the boards of several organizations and is currently the Treasurer of the Jewish Burial Society in Stamford, Connecticut. Ilan has an MS in Accountancy from Baruch College (CUNY), an MBA from Bar-Ilan University in Tel Aviv, and a BA from McGill University in Montreal.
